The JW Marriott Dallas Arts District has introduced its latest dining destination, JW Steakhouse, located on the 11th floor of the hotel. This marks the third restaurant to open since the hotel commenced operations in 2023. The new steakhouse aims to offer a lavish dining experience while guests enjoy breathtaking views of the Dallas skyline.
Executive Chef Miguel Antonio highlights his approach to the menu, focusing on modern interpretations of Texan classics that feature seasonal ingredients, aiming to enhance the quintessential Texan cuisine. The restaurant is designed to cater to various meal occasions, being open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Additionally, they offer a three-course Overture Menu ideal for pre-performance dining.
Antonio comments on the culinary scene in Dallas, noting, “Dallas knows steak… but we saw room to evolve the genre.” The steakhouse aims to elevate traditional offerings with attention to detail, featuring robust cuts brushed with herb-infused butter, accompanied by artisanal salt flights, and garnished with fresh herbs sourced from their on-site garden.
The restaurant collaborates with local farms such as Heartbrand Ranch and 44 Farms to provide fresh, high-quality ingredients. The cocktail menu features creative drinks like the Hibiscus Haze, which comprises mezcal, hibiscus syrup, egg whites, and lemon. For casual bites, the offerings include truffle fries and duck wings, along with a variety of gourmet starters and premium steaks.
With a commitment to sustainability and creativity, the JW Steakhouse promises a unique dining experience that resonates with the evolving sophistication of Dallas’s culinary landscape.
