I recently dined at Gordon Ramsay Steak, located within the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, and was thoroughly impressed. With almost 20 years living in Las Vegas, I often get questions about the best places to eat, but this was my first visit to this celebrity chef’s steakhouse.
Opened in 2012, this is one of six locations of the Gordon Ramsay Steak chain, with others in cities like Baltimore, Vancouver, and Kansas City. For my dinner, I made an online reservation and arrived on a Thursday evening. The entrance, an artistic representation of the Channel Tunnel between England and France, set the tone for a unique dining experience.
Upon entering, I was seated quickly. The restaurant boasts a chic two-story interior, with vibrant decor including a neon-red chandelier symbolizing Ramsay’s culinary passion. I opted to begin my meal with the warm breads and spreads, priced at $17. The dish included a variety of breads paired with chimichurri oil and two types of butter, which I found delightful.
For the main course, I couldn’t resist the wagyu filet. The presentation was exquisite, with a swirl of red-wine reduction and a pyramid of mustard seeds. The 8-ounce filet was flawlessly cooked to a soft rare, proving its $105 price justified.
I decided to complement my steak with the restaurant’s popular mac and cheese side. It was flavorful—enriched with bacon, smoked jalapeño cream, and a selection of cheeses—while managing to remain light despite its richness.
From start to finish, my experience at Gordon Ramsay Steak was exceptional. The staff was attentive and well-informed, further enhancing the dining atmosphere. I would certainly return, especially to try the enticing sticky toffee pudding for dessert. If you’re searching for an upscale dining option with a modern flair, Gordon Ramsay Steak is a wonderful choice.
