The resurgence of business travel is evident as corporate travelers once again take to the skies, with the Global Business Travel Association forecasting an 11% increase in business travel spending this year, reaching $1.48 trillion.
Business travel, which had significantly declined during the pandemic and recovered slowly due to companies monitoring expenses closely, is now regaining its popularity.
According to a global survey, around 42% of corporate travel planners are planning to increase their budgets for business trips in the next 12 months, indicating a strong recovery for this sector that is crucial for airlines, with an anticipation that it may even exceed pre-pandemic levels.
