The 2024 Emmy Awards, marking the 76th occurrence of this celebrated annual event by the Television Academy, is scheduled to be televised on Sunday, September 15.
While many viewing gatherings will likely engage in fervent discussions about their preferred winners among stars and shows, there will be far less debate concerning the delicious signature cocktails created for enjoying the event.

This vodka-based martini features Florida orange and papaya flavors with a hint of saltiness. Mixologist Randy Castillo explains, “The Palm Royale takes its inspiration and name from the locally set show nominated for 11 Emmy Awards. This drink captures the lavish essence of early 20th-century West Palm Beach. At our Emmy viewing party, we’ll be serving this martini, which uses vodka as its base to allow a clean backdrop. It includes Munyon’s Paw Paw, an orange liqueur produced here in South Florida, enhancing the drink with a sweet citrus flavor. Orange and saline bitters are also infused to mimic the fresh, salty breeze of our local beaches.”

“It’s a blend of a traditional espresso martini and a Carajillo, featuring Flor De Cana 12-year rum and Licor 43 for a touch of sweetness, topped with a custom-made chai foam developed by Chef Marcel Vigneron,” described lead mixologist Ash Ramos.

At Bramàre Inspired Italian in Las Vegas, the cocktail includes Smoke Wagon Small Batch Bourbon from Nevada’s H&C Distilling Co., Heirloom Crème de Flora, a “Millefiori” style Aperitivo liqueur, and Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur. Originally named the Flower Cask for its blend of floral and woodsy elements, the inclusion of pollen on a honey stick enhances the drink by combining bright, refreshing flavors and creating a distinct mouthfeel. The bee’s pollen also adds a striking golden color to the drink. “It’s the perfect cocktail for enjoying during the Emmys,” mentioned Constantin Alexander, co-owner.

At Subject in New York City, this cocktail combines gin, Juliette, Aperitivo, sweet vermouth, and a mix of Caribbean and grapefruit bitters. “The Mirror Image offers a tropical twist on a traditional recipe, featuring a lighter vermouth and a subtly bitter aperitivo, while Juliette provides juicy notes of stone fruit, adding richness to this late-summer beverage,” explained Korissa Matta, Spécialiste de Juliette.

At Nami Nori in Williamsburg, the Parkside Spritz is crafted with Suntory roku gin, Campari, grapefruit juice, a drop of sesame oil, crémant de loire, and miso honey. “We love nothing more than practicing our Emmy’s acceptance speeches with the Parkside Spritz, our bright citrusy take on the classic cocktail,” said Dylan Capello, Director of Brand Experience and Culture.

At ATRIO Wine Bar & Restaurant at Conrad New York Downtown, Blood & Sand is concocted with Johnny Walker Gold, orange juice, cherry liqueur, sweet vermouth, and lemon.

At Mister Mao in New Orleans, this cocktail is made with Malort, Benedictine, Combier, Velvet Falernum, and saline. “The Chicago distilled Malort comes out of the gate with a kick and is balanced out perfectly by the team of sweet liqueurs; just like Carmy and his Chefs,” says bar manager Andrea Leibrandt.

Beverage Manager Alexander Sanchez says: “The Summer in Kyoto cocktail is a perfect blend of Una Vodka and JF Hayden’s lychee liqueur, offering a taste of elegance and sophistication, while the agave nectar and clarified lemon juice add a refreshing twist. Each sip mirrors the excitement and glamour of the Emmys, making it the ideal choice to toast the stars and celebrate the night in style.”
