A brunch spot in Trinity Groves, Soirée Coffee Bar, started the month on a low note after a break-in occurred on December 6. However, the restaurant is poised to rebound as it enters 2025, thanks to a boost in visibility from TikTok influencer Keith Lee, who recommended the establishment to his 16 million followers.
Soirée Coffee Bar, a Black-owned business, received high praise from Lee after he visited and tried various dishes. He particularly enjoyed the fried catfish, grits, and peach cobbler egg rolls. While he liked the specialty waffles and avocado toast, Lee offered constructive feedback on those items as well.
“This is a gem,” Lee remarked, crediting a recommendation he received at NorthPark Center. He recently confirmed his residency in Dallas, which adds a personal touch to his endorsements.
To further support the restaurant, Lee tipped $1,500 and also left another $1,500 to cover meals for patrons who visited the coffee bar to try the food for themselves.
