A Connecticut man, Adam Julian, aged 28 and from Coventry, has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at an acquaintance’s home in Simsbury. The incident, which took place on November 26, 2024, resulted in no injuries but led to serious criminal charges, including first-degree arson of an occupied building and illegal bomb manufacturing.
Julian was arrested on an active warrant and is being held on a bond of $1 million. He is set to appear in Hartford Superior Court for his arraignment. The case involved investigations by the Simsbury Police Department, the Simsbury Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Connecticut State Police Fire and Explosive Investigation Unit.
